I am hugely proud of these twins who both gained an academic scholarship at one of the most prestigious schools in the country. It was wonderful to be a part of their journey. Here's what their dad had to say: "We approached Melissa to help with our boys 11+ exam preparation and in particular creative writing. We tried to motivate the boys to get better at creative writing, but we just couldn’t spark their interest. Fast forward and the boys have just managed to get themselves an academic scholarship at a top independent school where one of the tests they sat was on creative writing. Such an impressive commitment to learning and an exciting future ahead. For the last year and a half, she has received 4 hours of English tuition from me per week and I couldn't be more proud of what she has achieved.

She made great progress in writing (and careful reading) during this year-and-a-half, and also had a chance to discuss a variety of interesting subjects in literary English. When I read "we'll let our new knowledge shine through whatever we do" I conjured an image of children with brightly glowing heads, packed with knowledge and ideas ready for their next adventure! The hardest part of tutoring is saying goodbye to children but thoughtful cards like this soften the blow. My dog, Bruno, is also delighted to be remembered!  A was so proud of herself to win the 'writer of the term' prize at school today. She read her piece with conviction and I couldn't be prouder of her. Thanks so much for all your help. It was as much down to you as it was her today.

He’s enjoying reading which he didn’t like doing before; the same with writing stories and now he’s thinking out the box with creative writing. Thank you once again.
