A spooktacular student poem!

Please enjoy my student’s fangtastic poem — the final piece in our half-term poetry study for my Creative Writing & Book Club!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve explored figurative language and verse inspired by Joseph Coelho’s Zombierella and Clare Bevan’s Mermaid School. That last poem sparked a brilliant idea: What do ghosts learn at school? 

The children’s creativity and performances were incredible — and I’m so grateful to this student for letting me share his poem.
